In Friday's league contest, the visiting Central Christian Comets basketball team scored a close 59-52 triumph over the Crestline Bulldogs.

The Comets (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Aquinas (Louisville, OH). The Knights enter the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Aquinas was nudged by Cardinal Mooney (Youngstown, OH), 42-34, in a non-league match.
