The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Timber Creek Wolves (Orlando, FL) and the visiting East River Falcons (Orlando, FL), witnessed Timber Creek's basketball squad hold off East River by a count of 56-54.

With the victory, Timber Creek advances its record to 4-3 on the year. The Wolves travel to Impact Christian Academy (Jacksonville, FL) to meet the Lions in a 1A District 2 battle on Saturday, December 13. The Lions enter the battle with a record of 7-1. Impact Christian Academy won 78-23 in their recent non-league battle against Lake Minneola (Minneola, FL)

The Falcons now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gateway for a non-league battle on Monday, December 15. East River will battle a Panthers team coming off a 76-43 non-league loss to Osceola (Kissimmee, FL). The Panthers record now stands at 2-7.
