The Gateway Gators basketball team scored 63 points and limited the host Greater Latrobe Wildcats to 50 in the Gators league triumph on Thursday.

The Gators now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Laurel Highlands for a WPIAL 5A 1 outing on Tuesday, December 16. Gateway will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 54-52 league loss to McKeesport (McKeesport, PA). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-2.

The Wildcats (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against Uniontown (Uniontown, PA). The Red Raiders come into the WPIAL 5A 1 game with a 3-1 record.
