The Northome/Kelliher Mustangs basketball team scored 88 points and limited the host Laporte Wildcats to 65 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Littlefork-Big Falls for a non-league test on Monday, December 15. Northome/Kelliher will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 63-41 non-league win over Chisholm (Chisholm, MN). The Vikings record now stands at 3-2.

The Wildcats (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Sebeka (Sebeka, MN). The Trojans come into the A Section 5 test with a 4-2 record. In their last bout, Sebeka crushed Verndale (Verndale, MN), 39-30, in a league bout.
