In Friday's non-league test, the McCool Junction Mustangs (McCool Junction, NE) basketball squad defeated the visiting Sutton Mustangs (Sutton, NE), by a final score of 55-45.

Coming up next, the Mustangs play the Twin River Titans (Genoa, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 16. McCool Junction will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 65-57 non-league win over H&H (Henderson, NE).
