In Friday's league contest, the host Tahoma Bears basketball team scored a good 79-69 triumph over the Mt. Rainier Rams.

The Bears (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Kennedy Catholic (Burien, WA). The Lancers go into the 3A/4A North Puget Sound contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Kennedy Catholic was topped by Auburn (Auburn, WA), 77-73, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Rams face the Auburn Riverside Ravens (Auburn, WA) in a 3A/4A North Puget Sound match, on Tuesday, December 16. Mt. Rainier will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Ravens enter the match with a 0-6 record after their 74-55 league loss to Kentwood (Covington, WA).
