The Smoky Mountain Mustangs basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Pisgah Bears to 46 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now have a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Tuscola for a Mountain Eight 4A/5A game on Friday, December 19.

With the loss, Pisgah falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Bears travel to North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC) to confront the Knights in a Mountain Eight 4A/5A game on Tuesday, December 16. The Knights go into the game with a record of 7-1. North Henderson won 77-38 in their recent league game against Tuscola (Waynesville, NC)
