In Friday's league contest, the visiting Vasquez Mustangs basketball team scored a big 67-35 triumph over the St. Monica Academy Crusaders.

The Mustangs (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against The Palmdale Aerospace Academy (Palmdale, CA). The Griffins go into the Heritage contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, The Palmdale Aerospace Academy overwhelmed St. Monica Academy (Montrose, CA), 55-43, in a league match.
