The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Independence 76ers (San Jose, CA) and the visiting Irvington Vikings (Fremont, CA), observed Independence's basketball team knock off Irvington by a score of 56-47.

The 76ers (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA). The Chargers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Wilcox lost by Leland (San Jose, CA), 44-31, in a non-league battle.
