In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Bullard Knights basketball team scored a good 49-40 triumph over the Hoover Patriots.

The Knights (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Sierra (Tollhouse, CA). The Chieftains go into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Sierra was dropped by Immanuel (Reedley, CA), 64-24, in a non-league match.

The Patriots now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Atwater for a non-league match on Monday, December 15. Hoover will face a Falcons squad coming off a 50-41 non-league win over Tracy (Tracy, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 4-3.
