The Salisbury Hornets basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Carson Cougars to 42 in the Hornets league triumph on Friday.

The Hornets now have a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Ben L. Smith for a non-league game on Saturday, December 13. Salisbury will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 49-38 non-league loss to Winston Salem Christian (Winston-Salem, NC). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Carson drops to 2-4 on the year. The Cougars travel to North Rowan (Spencer, NC) to clash with the Cavaliers in a non-league outing on Friday, December 19.
