December 12, 2025: St. Francis, KS 67756 The Cheylin Cougars (Bird City, KS) basketball crushed the host St. Francis Indians (St. Francis, KS), 66-18 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Wallace County for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 13. Cheylin will play a Wildcats team coming off a 62-20 non-league win over Triplains/Brewster (Brewster, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-1.
The Indians (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Golden Plains (Rexford, KS). The Bulldogs come into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Golden Plains bounced Western Plains (Ransom, KS), 36-34, in a non-league test.
