Harrisburg Academy Spartans (Wormleysburg, PA) backers went home thrilled Friday as they saw their basketball team smash the host Lititz Christian Eagles (Lititz, PA), 57-27 in a non-league contest.

The Spartans (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Belleville Mennonite (Belleville, PA). The Thunder go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Belleville Mennonite was trounced by Northumberland Christian (Northumberland, PA), 41-19, in a league match.

The Eagles now own a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Covenant Christian for a Commonwealth Christian - West match on Monday, December 15. Lititz Christian will face a Flames squad coming off a 53-36 league win over Covenant Christian Academy (Harrisburg, PA). The Flames record now stands at 3-0.
