In Friday's non-league test, the Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA) basketball squad knocked off the host Oscar Smith Tigers (Chesapeake, VA), by a score of 55-41.

Next, the Braves encounter the Norcom Greyhounds (Portsmouth, VA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, December 16. Indian River will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Greyhounds come into the test with a 1-4 record after their 56-26 league loss to Churchland (Portsmouth, VA).
