Murray War Eagles (Greeleyville, SC) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Kingstree Jaguars (Kingstree, SC), 49-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Murray upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The War Eagles travel to Manning (Manning, SC) to encounter the Monarchs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 16. The Monarchs go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Manning lost 35-30 in their recent non-league bout against Scott's Branch (Summerton, SC)

Next up, the Jaguars encounter the East Clarendon Wolverines (Turbeville, SC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 16. Kingstree will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 59-47 non-league win over Johnsonville (Johnsonville, SC).
