Alabama High School Basketball - Shades Valley holds off Leeds
December 13, 2021: Birmingham, AL 35210 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Shades Valley Mounties (Birmingham, AL) and the visiting Leeds Greenwave (Leeds, AL), saw Shades Valley's basketball squad hold off Leeds by a tally of 64-61.
With the victory, Shades Valley improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Mounties host Jackson-Olin (Birmingham, AL) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 14. The Mustangs come into the battle with a record of 3-4. Jackson-Olin won 66-48 in their recent non-league battle against Cleveland (Cleveland, AL)
The Greenwave (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, AL). The Huskies come into the non-league battle with a 4-9 record. In their last battle, Hewitt-Trussville was nudged by Hoover (Hoover, AL), 57-53, in a non-league battle.
