Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA), 66-22 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lowndes upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Ware County (Waycross, GA) to play the Gators in a non-league bout on Monday, December 20. The Gators come into the bout with a record of 2-5.

Next up, the Bears play the Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane (Fitzgerald, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 14. Pierce County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Purple Hurricane come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 64-46 non-league loss to Wheeler County (Alamo, GA).
