Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Alexander Cougars (Douglasville, GA) and the host New Manchester Jaguar (Douglasville, GA), saw Alexander's basketball squad wallop New Manchester by a tally of 71-45.

With the victory, Alexander improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Newnan (Newnan, GA) to confront the Cougars in a AAAAAA Region 5 challenge on Friday, December 16. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Newnan won 62-44 in their recent league challenge against Douglas County (Douglasville, GA)

Next up, the Jaguar confront the Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs (Kennesaw, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 17. New Manchester will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 56-51 non-league win over Lassiter (Marietta, GA).
