Tennessee High School Basketball - Anderson County topped by Northview Academy
December 13, 2022: Clinton, TN 37716 The Northview Academy Cougars basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host Anderson County Mavericks to 51 in the Cougars non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gibbs for a 3A District 3 contest on Friday, December 16. Northview Academy will battle a Eagles team coming off a 83-73 league win over Seymour (Seymour, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 5-4.
The Mavericks (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Halls (Knoxville, TN). The Red Devils come into the 3A District 4 contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Halls prevailed over Knoxville Central (Knoxville, TN), 74-68, in a non-league contest.
