Big Bear Bears (Big Bear City, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy (Victorville, CA), 67-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Big Bear upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Bears travel to Granite Hills (Apple Valley, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 15. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Granite Hills lost 66-42 in their recent non-league bout against Corona (Corona, CA)

Next up, the play the Academy for Academic Excellence Knights (Apple Valley, CA) in a Cross Valley bout, on Friday, December 16. Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 54-35 league win over University Prep (Victorville, CA).
