Kentucky High School Basketball - Blazer tops Boyd County
December 13, 2022: Ashland, KY 41102 Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY), 77-68 in a league bout.
With the victory, Blazer upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Tomcats travel to Bracken County (Brooksville, KY) to play the Polar Bears in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Polar Bears come into the bout with a record of 5-1. Bracken County won 82-44 in their recent non-league bout against Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY)
Next up, the Lions play the Fairview Eagles (Ashland, KY) in a District 64 bout, on Thursday, December 15. Boyd County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 56-53 non-league loss to Raceland (Raceland, KY).
