December 13, 2022: Three Oaks, MI 49128 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the River Valley Mustangs (Three Oaks, MI) and the visiting Dowagiac Chieftains (Dowagiac, MI), saw River Valley's basketball squad overcome Dowagiac by a tally of 55-44.
With the victory, River Valley improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Lake Michigan Catholic (St. Joseph, MI) to play the Lakers in a Berrien-Cass-St. Joseph - White challenge on Friday, December 16. The Lakers come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Lake Michigan Catholic lost 54-42 in their recent league challenge against Countryside Academy (Benton Harbor, MI)
Next up, the Chieftains play the Benton Harbor Tigers (Benton Harbor, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 15. Dowagiac will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 80-35 non-league win over Buchanan (Buchanan, MI).
