February 21, 2023: Buchanan, MI 49107 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the River Valley Mustangs (Three Oaks, MI) and the host Buchanan Bucks (Buchanan, MI), saw River Valley's basketball squad overcome Buchanan by a tally of 45-31.
With the victory, River Valley improves its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Countryside Academy (Benton Harbor, MI) to confront the Cougar in a Berrien-Cass-St. Joseph - White challenge on Friday, February 24. The Cougar come into the challenge with a record of 11-7. Countryside Academy won 61-46 in their recent league challenge against Michigan Lutheran (St. Joseph, MI)
Next up, the Bucks confront the Dowagiac Chieftains (Dowagiac, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 24. Buchanan will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record. The Chieftains come into the challenge with a 3-16 record after their 55-51 non-league loss to Coloma (Coloma, MI).
