Oregon High School Basketball - Phoenix nips Eagle Point
December 13, 2022: Phoenix, OR 97535 Phoenix Pirates (Phoenix, OR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Eagle Point Eagles (Eagle Point, OR), 47-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Phoenix upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Pirates travel to South Umpqua (Myrtle Creek, OR) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 15. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 2-3.
Next up, the Eagles play the Lebanon Warriors (Lebanon, OR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Eagle Point will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 73-53 league loss to Central (Independence, OR).
