The St. Augustine Purple Knights (New Orleans, LA) basketball nipped the host East Jefferson Warriors (Metairie, LA), 59-55 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Purple Knights (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Cox (Harvey, LA). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 2-5 record.

The Warriors now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Riverdale for a non-league test on Thursday, December 15.
