Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Meyersdale holds off Ferndale
December 13, 2022: Johnstown, PA 15905 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Meyersdale Red Raiders (Meyersdale, PA) and the host Ferndale Yellow Jackets (Johnstown, PA), saw Meyersdale's basketball squad hold off Ferndale by a tally of 60-55.
With the victory, Meyersdale improves its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Red Raiders host Northern (Accident, MD) to confront the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 16. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Northern lost 56-48 in their recent league challenge against Allegany (Cumberland, MD)
Next up, the Yellow Jackets confront the Harmony Area Owls (Westover, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. Ferndale will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Owls come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 68-58 non-league loss to DuBois Central Catholic (DuBois, PA).
