January 9, 2023: Meyersdale, PA 15552 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Meyersdale Red Raiders (Meyersdale, PA) and the visiting Blacklick Valley Vikings (Nanty Glo, PA), saw Meyersdale's basketball squad knock off Blacklick Valley by a tally of 49-38.
With the victory, Meyersdale improves its record to 2-10 on the campaign. The Red Raiders travel to Shanksville Stonycreek (Shanksville, PA) to play the Vikings in a Western Pennsylvania - Southern challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 0-9. Shanksville Stonycreek lost 71-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Conemaugh Valley (Johnstown, PA)
Next up, the Vikings play the Ferndale Yellow Jackets (Johnstown, PA) in a Western Pennsylvania - Northern challenge, on Tuesday, January 10.
