Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Rockwood Rockets (Rockwood, PA) and the visiting Blacklick Valley Vikings (Nanty Glo, PA), saw Rockwood's basketball squad hold off Blacklick Valley by a tally of 55-49.

With the victory, Rockwood improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Windber (Windber, PA) to confront the Ramblers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 14. The Ramblers come into the challenge with a record of 3-0.
