December 13, 2022: Gatesville, TX 76528 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Gatesville Hornets (Gatesville, TX) and the visiting West Trojans (West, TX), saw Gatesville's basketball squad wallop West by a count of 82-36.
With the victory, Gatesville upgrades its record to 14-1 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to McGregor (McGregor, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 16. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 8-5. McGregor won 53-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Mildred (Corsicana, TX)
Next up, the Trojans play the Little River Academy Bumblebees (Little River Academy, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. West will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Bumblebees come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 48-45 non-league loss to Jarrell (Jarrell, TX).
