December 13, 2022: Romney, WV 26757 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Hampshire Trojans (Romney, WV) and the visiting Moorefield Yellow Jackets (Moorefield, WV), saw Hampshire's basketball squad overcome Moorefield by a tally of 52-39.
With the victory, Hampshire improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Trojans host Keyser (Keyser, WV) to confront the Golden Tornado in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 16. The Golden Tornado come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Keyser lost 61-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Trinity Christian (Morgantown, WV)
Next up, the Yellow Jackets confront the Braxton County Eagles (Sutton, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. Moorefield will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 55-52 league loss to Clay County (Clay, WV).
