Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Petersburg Vikings (Petersburg, WV) and the visiting Moorefield Yellow Jackets (Moorefield, WV), saw Petersburg's basketball squad knock off Moorefield by a count of 66-58.

With the victory, Petersburg upgrades its record to 8-10 on the campaign. The Vikings host Pendleton County (Franklin, WV) to play the Wildcat in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 11.
