Iowa High School Basketball - Whiting overwhelmed by Heartland Christian
December 13, 2022: Council Bluffs, IA 51501 The Heartland Christian basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Whiting Warriors to 20 in the non-league victory on Tuesday.
The now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cornerstone Christian School for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 15. Heartland Christian will battle a Cougars team coming off a 86-41 non-league loss to Parkview Christian (Lincoln, NE). The Cougars record now stands at 2-3.
With the defeat, Whiting moves to 0-5 on the year. The Warriors host Cedar Bluffs (Cedar Bluffs, NE) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league match on Friday, December 16. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 0-4. Cedar Bluffs lost 38-25 in their recent league match against Omaha Christian Academy (Omaha, NE)
