Missouri High School Basketball - Lafayette overwhelms Mid-Buchanan
December 13, 2022: Faucett, MO 64448 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lafayette Fighting Irish (St. Joseph, MO) and the host Mid-Buchanan Dragons (Faucett, MO), saw Lafayette's basketball squad wallop Mid-Buchanan by a tally of 58-25.
With the victory, Lafayette improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Fighting Irish travel to Olathe East (Olathe, KS) to confront the Hawks in a Sunflower challenge on Thursday, December 22. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Dragons confront the North Platte Panthers (Dearborn, MO) in a KCI challenge, on Friday, December 16. Mid-Buchanan will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 37-34 non-league loss to Mound City (Mound City, MO).
