Georgia High School Basketball - Long County overwhelms Savannah Christian
December 13, 2022: Savannah, GA 31408 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Long County Blue Tide (Ludowici, GA) and the host Savannah Christian Raiders (Savannah, GA), saw Long County's basketball squad wallop Savannah Christian by a tally of 80-39.
With the victory, Long County improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Blue Tide travel to Wayne County (Jesup, GA) to confront the Yellow Jackets in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 16. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a record of 7-1. Wayne County won 71-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Brantley County (Nahunta, GA)
Next up, the Raiders confront the First Preparatory Christian Academy Highlanders (Hinesville, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 19. Savannah Christian will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 60-53 non-league loss to Beaufort Academy (Beaufort, SC).
