Michigan High School Basketball - Petoskey tops Sault Area
December 13, 2022: Petoskey, MI 49770 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Petoskey Northmen (Petoskey, MI) and the visiting Sault Area Blue Devils (Sault St. Marie, MI), saw Petoskey's basketball squad knock off Sault Area by a count of 65-47.
With the victory, Petoskey upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Northmen host Gaylord (Gaylord, MI) to play the Blue Devils in a Big North challenge on Thursday, December 15. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Gaylord lost 43-20 in their recent league challenge against Cadillac (Cadillac, MI)
Next up, the Blue Devils encounter the Pickford Panthers (Pickford, MI) in a non-league test, on Monday, December 19. Sault Area will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Panthers go into the test with a 1-0 record after their 51-44 non-league win over Pellston (Pellston, MI).
