December 13, 2022: Granville, IL 61326 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Putnam County Panthers (Granville, IL) and the visiting Somonauk Bobcats (Somonauk, IL), saw Putnam County's basketball squad overcome Somonauk by a tally of 72-59.
With the victory, Putnam County improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Seneca (Seneca, IL) to confront the Fighting Irish in a Tri-County challenge on Friday, December 16. The Fighting Irish come into the challenge with a record of 8-0. Seneca won 57-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL)
Next up, the Bobcats confront the Amboy Clippers (Amboy, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. Somonauk will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record.
