Maine High School Basketball - Waynflete topped by Cape Elizabeth
December 13, 2022: Cape Elizabeth, ME 04107 The Cape Elizabeth Capers basketball team scored 26 points and restricted the visiting Waynflete Flyers to 17 in the Capers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Capers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to York for a B South contest on Friday, December 16. Cape Elizabeth will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 45-41 non-league loss to Marshwood (South Berwick, ME). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.
The Flyers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Fryeburg (Fryeburg, ME). The Raiders come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record.
