The South Plaquemines Hurricanes (Buras, LA) basketball crushed the host GEO Next Generation Tigers (Baton Rouge, LA), 54-30 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Hurricanes (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Cox (Harvey, LA). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 1-5 record.

The Tigers now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Broadmoor for a non-league test on Monday, December 19. GEO Next Generation will encounter a Buccaneers squad coming off a 41-26 non-league loss to Catholic of Pointe Coupee (New Roads, LA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 1-4.
