St. John Paul II Catholic Lions (Avondale, AZ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting NFL Yet Academy Eagles (Phoenix, AZ), 37-35 in a league bout.

With the win, St. John Paul II Catholic upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Lions travel to Bisbee (Bisbee, AZ) to clash with the Pumas in a non-league bout on Monday, December 19. The Pumas go into the bout with a record of 7-3.
