December 13, 2022: Albemarle, NC 28001 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) and the host Albemarle Bulldogs (Albemarle, NC), saw West Stanly's basketball squad wallop Albemarle by a tally of 55-23.
With the victory, West Stanly improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Colts host North Stanly (New London, NC) to confront the Comets in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 14. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. North Stanly won 41-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. Albemarle will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record.
