The Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors basketball team (Indian Trail, NC), was nudged 41-38 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host South Charlotte Thunder Thunder (Matthews, NC)

The Thunder now possess a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greater Cabarrus Stallions for a battle on Tuesday, December 20. South Charlotte Thunder will confront a Stallions team coming off a 50-15 non-league win over Statesville Christian (Statesville, NC). The Stallions record now stands at 7-5.

The Warriors (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Lee Park Prep (Monroe, NC). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Lee Park Prep edged Liberty Preparatory Christian (Mooresville, NC), 35-32, in a league battle.
