Catholic - N.I. Panthers (New Iberia, LA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Episcopal of Acadiana Falcons (Cade, LA), 56-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Catholic - N.I. upgrades its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy (Lafayette, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 5-6.

Next up, the Falcons play the Northside Christian Warriors (Crowley, LA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Episcopal of Acadiana will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record.
