February 9, 2024: Midland, LA 70559 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Episcopal of Acadiana Falcons (Cade, LA) and the host Midland Rebels (Midland, LA), saw Episcopal of Acadiana's basketball squad hold off Midland by a tally of 66-62.
With the victory, Episcopal of Acadiana improves its record to 20-9 on the campaign. The Falcons host Church Point (Church Point, LA) to confront the Bears in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 14. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 13-12. Church Point lost 60-55 in their recent league challenge against Ville Platte (Ville Platte, LA)
Next up, the Rebels confront the Grand Lake Hornets (Lake Charles, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 12. Midland will attempt to improve on its 15-15 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 6-21 record after their 57-39 league loss to DeQuincy (DeQuincy, LA).
