North Carolina High School Basketball - Currituck County can't hold off Great Bridge

December 13, 2023: Barco, NC 27917

The Great Bridge Wildcats basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Currituck County Knights to 43 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oscar Smith for a Southeastern contest on Friday, December 15. Great Bridge will battle a Tigers team coming off a 90-33 league win over Hickory (Chesapeake, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.

The Knights (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Washington County (Plymouth, NC). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record.
