Maryland High School Basketball - Atholton overwhelms Wilde Lake
December 13, 2023: Columbia, MD 21044 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Atholton Raiders (Columbia, MD) and the visiting Wilde Lake Wildecats (Columbia, MD), saw Atholton's basketball squad wallop Wilde Lake by a tally of 59-4.
With the victory, Atholton improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Raiders host Howard (Ellicott City, MD) to confront the Lions in a Howard County challenge on Friday, December 15. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Howard won 44-17 in their recent league challenge against Centennial (Ellicott City, MD)
Next up, the Wildecats confront the Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 18. Wilde Lake will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 39-20 non-league win over Lackey (Indian Head, MD).
