Louisiana High School Basketball - Livingston Collegiate Academy ripped by GEO Next Generation
December 13, 2023: Baton Rouge, LA 70815 The GEO Next Generation Tigers basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Livingston Collegiate Academy Wolves to 10 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Tigers now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fisher for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. GEO Next Generation will meet a Gators team coming off a 16-14 non-league win over Morris Jeff (New Orleans, LA). The Gators record now stands at 1-1.
The Wolves (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against East Jefferson (Metairie, LA). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 5-5 record.
First Quarter
GEO dominated the 1st quarter with senior Brianna Hawthorne scoring 7 of their 16 points.
Second Quarter
Synia Sims came off the bench to score 6 of GEO 10 points before the half.
Third Quarter
GEO defense continued to stop Livingston Collegiate outscoring them 20-2.
Fourth Quarter
GEO leading scores senior guard, Quinniece Darby (13 points) and freshman forward,Kimberly Jack (12 points) scored all 8 points for GEO in the 4th quarter.
