The Academy of the Sacred Heart Cardinals basketball team scored 45 points and held the host GEO Next Generation Tigers to 34 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Metairie Park Country Day for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Academy of the Sacred Heart will battle a Cajuns team coming off a 45-37 non-league win over McDonogh 35 (New Orleans, LA). The Cajuns record now stands at 1-6.

The Tigers (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Slaughter Community Charter (Slaughter, LA). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Slaughter Community Charter ran past Belaire (Baton Rouge, LA), 40-7, in a non-league contest.
