Mount Vernon Majors (Alexandria, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology Colonials (Alexandria, VA), 52-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Mount Vernon upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Majors host West Potomac (Alexandria, VA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 2-4. West Potomac won 65-51 in their recent league bout against West Springfield (Springfield, VA)
