In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Rocky River Ravens (Mint Hill, NC) basketball squad beat the visiting Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC), by a count of 49-31.

The Ravens (3-4) will now prepare for their outing against Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars go into the 4A Southwestern outing with a 6-0 record. In their last outing, Charlotte Catholic defeated Independence (Charlotte, NC), 50-48, in a league outing.
