Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Foard Tigers (Newton, NC) and the visiting West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC), saw Foard's basketball squad hold off West Lincoln by a count of 38-31.

With the victory, Foard upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to North Iredell (Olin, NC) to play the Raiders in a challenge on Wednesday, December 20. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. North Iredell lost 61-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Davie (Mocksville, NC)

Next up, the Rebels play the Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. West Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 56-45 non-league win over Patton (Morganton, NC).
